SIXERS ARE 2008 SBA CHAMPIONS; WINNERS OF BACK TO BACK TITLES! The Sixers were led to the 2008 SBA Championship in four games by Jordan Hancock, Ryan Girardot, Tyler Wendell, and Jamal Collins. They won Game Four over the Nuggets on the road, 151-120, in the final game at SKG Court, which has been home of the SBA since its birth in 2003. The Sixers became only the second team to ever win consecutive titles, matches only by the dynasty of the Mavs, who completed a three-peat from 2004-2006. The Sixers trio of Ryan Girardot, Jordan Hancock, and Tyler Wendell, have combined to win 14 SBA Championships, making them the greatest trio in SBA history to date.
NUGGETS WIN THE WEST: The Nuggets advanced to the SBA Finals with a 121-131 victory over the Suns.
SIXERS WIN EAST: The Sixers defeated the Bulls in the Eastern Conference Finals to advance to the SBA Finals for the third straight season.
